I offer this for laughs, since it's useless info. @keithjjones was asking about LO Cam filler/binder, and LO MSA wrapper. So I was reading various entries in my spreadsheet for the MSA wrapper and the only LO Cam I've tried, which is the wrapper. And I found these smoking notes for a couple blends.

A blend with LO MSA wrapper:
2/20/16 PERFECTION. Cocoa, leather, and tobacco. Nubbed it.
2/28/16 Bad. Bad flavor. Burnt tire and hay.
3/6/16 Sucked. Grassy. Good burn tho. Chucked it.
4/21/16 Yuck.

A blend with LO Cameroon wrapper:
7/17/15 Decent.
7/31/15 Tasted like crap, hated it. I reckon I should stay off the Cameroon
8/29/15 Can't say I'm thrilled with the flavor. It's pretty bad, but smokeable with a nice cold class of champagne to cut through the nasty.
9/15 Super lovely!

Lol, I'm the same way. I'm having a wlt Corojo seco stick right now and it's pretty good.

Now if I can only triple cap without it looking like a three stooges haircut.

I have felt this way about my sticks for a while. Smoked ROTT or within 3 days, they're ok. After that they will suck until they're 3 months old or older. Some are still "improving/suckling less" after 4 months rest...
Of course some may just suck forever.

Then as y'all have noted, after I found a blend I liked after the rest, the replacement leaf doesn't look anything like the original batch used so who knows, maybe we'll always be making new blends.

Here's another question for you gents:
After rolling a cigar, we all agree it needs a bit of rest. Is that because we misted the leaves and that starts some reaction between the leaves?
I'm sure many of us are rolling with leaf we've stored for more than 3, 4, or 5 months already. But they are stored separated by the bags. This seems to have no effect on the rest time after rolling.

True. No matter how old you are, you get married, shit gonna change.

A higher case will promote a higher degree of marrying. let them dry some before wrapper application. being handed a fresh rolled off a table, they’ll say, “smoke it in the next two hours or, after two weeks not in between. and don’t ask why. “ and that’s why. There will be optimal times to smoke them and not so optimal times.

Not the same thing as blend marrying. The leaf we get has been aged in most cases for years. I like to think that when I case a blend in the same container before I roll it a day or two before hand it has an effect in that marrying.

.
I've been told "in the next two minutes, in two weeks, or give it two months."

View attachment 80034 So today I smoked one straight from my dry box and it stayed lit , no struggles. It did burn funny though, what do you guys make of this?
So after 15 months in the humidor, the broadleaf bound and wrapped stogies burn, even if a bit wonky still.
Problem today is that an inch into it, my kids now want dinner!
First world problems, I tell you what. I'm glad that's all I can complain about today!20170712_190800.jpg 20170712_184132.jpg
