Besides the actual game play last night...good god. Lets screw up the national anthem by singing an entire line again in replacement of the line you're supposed to sing. It pisses me off when these popstar dipshits butcher the anthem. The know what they have to sing, they can practice well ahead of time, and they still screw it up. They should let Billy Joel do it again!

Then that half-time show. I wish they were lip-synching. It was horrible. Who wants to see a light up goof ball wearing a plastic hair piece singing with a synthesized voice? Put a real band on there and real fans around the stage. I already didn't like the Black Eyed Peas but last night put them into negative fandom for me. To me their music lacks creativity and true talent.

Then when Slash apparently sold out to allow that bitch hole Fergie sing a GnR song. She was trying to sound like Axl Rose but it sounded like she was singing with a sock in her mouth. I can understand why because she's just a tight body (mildly attractive at best) to dance around the stage, and in my opinion, has no singing talent.

Plus you had the what seemed like 45 seconds of Usher. Then the loud mouth Black Eyed Peas over sang him (like I cared).

The whole half-time show seemed very half assed and poorly done. I hope whomever coordinated that this year doesn't do it next year.

She screwed up but I think she did a good job of getting back on track. Could it have been better? Sure, but do we just always need something to cry about?

As for the Black Eyed Peas, they were absolutely horrible.

I didn't watch any of the pregame show at all. Entertainers have been screwing up the anthem for years. (let's see, how many notes can I add this time?) As to the half time shows, most of the time they are way over hyped. Well actually, the whole game is.

I came real close to not watching it at all this year.

The game was an entertaining football game, even though my Steelers lost. One of my favorite parts of Super Bowl Sunday is the commercials during the super bowl. They are always good. I do agree about the National Anthem screwup was pitifull, they have weeks to practice it, but they should not need to since they have been singing for years. The BEP sucked ass, it was the worst half time show in many years.

I've heard Fergie do some GnR songs before (with Slash for that matter) and some other rock tunes and though I am not a fan, she did the songs justice. She was quite good.

However, I don't know what she was trying to do last night but man did it Suck. Very disappointing. She has a good singing voice, but she sure wasn't using it last night. The Black eyed Peas are just a waste of studio time.

according to our local radio station, fergie and slash have been an item since he filed for divorce. however, slash's wife perla and he have since dropped the divorce procedings. might be one reason slash never looked up while fergie was trying to grind on him.
EVERYONE has the right to complain about the way the anthem was done.

I forgot she did that on his cd that was released last year. While she was better on the CD it still wasn't that great. The beauty of the CD though is all the digital remastering that their voices go through. I bet they could make me sound like Pavarotti with enough time.
