+1. I've done this many of times and never had an issue. In fact 99% of the time they ask me if I'm bringing anything in and I say yes cigars and even after I've told them, they still never check as they really don't care. Pull the bands off, throw them in the box, and they have no clue.
As far as duty free shop cigars, they are as legit as you can get. Enjoy the smokes and have a safe trip.
