MUNKY - To elaborate a little....for /me/ the flavor profile (The Angel's Anvil) is round, soft, and balanced. It's not a direct 'in-your-face' flavor bomb. The TAA blend is a complete departure from, say, the Las Calaveras blend.

Again, for /me/, it's somewhere in the in-between-Four-Kicks-and-Mule-Kick wheelhouse. I smoked a few over the past 2 days--consistent and a really nice blend. I wanted to have something that was easily approachable, easy to enjoy, and had that 'classic' old-school Churchill vibe to it....

Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.

I dont mean to side track the thread but I love that the owner of such a reputable cigar company chimes in and answers our questions. Says alot. Thanks Jon.

apnutter - Thanks for that kind 'hijack,' but while I may be a "brand owner" I'm no different from anyone else here on this forum in that I'm just a cigar 'geek' at heart. There's nothing I enjoy more than talkin' "shop."

Have said it before but I'll post it again: if anyone here ever wants to reach me--questions, concerns, questions, whatever--feel free to email me direct at: Huber@CrownedHeads.com.

Cheers.

Just ordered my box yesterday and thanks Jon. I've been in this game only two years and I've never been gung-ho with box buying until your past two releases. I have a box of the Las Calaveras that I will be letting sleep for a while but I was fortunate to be able to afford a few singles. This box is gonna be hard not to open and try right out of the gate.

I just bought a box via Emerson's. They have 73 left.

I called Emerson's immediately after ordering because I wanted them to add a delivery comment for usps. What a great company....Always courteous, efficient, and cool as can be ;)

100% Agreed. They are great to deal with. I've always felt welcomed when calling for information or to place an order. Top notch company.

I had one last night and I really enjoyed it. The first third is made for retrohale and the body builds as it is smoked. I like to smoke more than one cigar before I make up my mind about them. I am looking forward to my next one.

I'm smoking one now at about the mid point. I really like this cigar. It's medium strength to me, but quite smooth and with some flavor changes. This is one that I don't regret smoking rott.

edit: The construction of this cigar is perfect. Medium light pull with billows of smoke. Very nicely done in my very humble opinion.
