nah, being out on the ice with the kids is great. Almost as relaxing as sitting with a nice cigar (til they drop their gloves and start fighting each other...)

It's the parents and coaches that make it miserable. The most hassles I've had have come from the <10yr old age group if you'd believe it.

Amen to that!! its like these idiot parents think that if their little johhny gets called for a trip they won't get a scholarship to a division 1 school and never make it to the nhl and win the Stanley Cup. it's sad how many of them have completely lost sight of the reason for youth sports: the kids
