@WindyCity_Wanderer Scott check out this link. This is an excellent source of information for fountain pens. I have a few myself. http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/223983-youve-got-your-first-found-in-the-wild-parker-51-in-your-hand-now-what/. Hope all is well with you guys.
Thanks Dave I will be going down the fountain pen rabbit hole now lol.
Everyone here is doing well thanks. We got your Christmas card and it is beautiful. Your wife does amazing work. I am really far behind on getting in touch with anyone as work has been absolutely bonkers. Hopefully life will slow down a bit soon and I can do some much needed communicating with everyone.
I hope all is well at Happily Ever After. The girls and I are planning another spring break trip someplace warmer than here. I am pushing for another trip through the smokies. If that happens we will most definitely pay a visit to your little slice of heaven. Take care

There's a few of us and my collection is in its infancy.

L-R: Pilot Metropolitan (M nib) inked with the cartridge of black ink it came with, Monte Verde Prima (F nib) inked with Noodler's Blue Nose Bear, and another Pilot Metropolitan (F nib) inked with Noodler's Burgundy. All sitting atop my Rhodia Web Book

@CaptainRon also collects and uses them.

Yes, fountain pens have become a thing for me. I suppose if you bought one pen and one bottle of ink you could save money, but there's no fun in that! These are my "currently inked" pens...

I have way too many pens for the short time I've had an interest in them. And even more inks. Ink is the fun part for me - I've always liked takeing notes with different ink colors and being able to change them, a lot, makes me happy. This lineup includes a pen that shipped from Chins was under four bucks. Definitely the way to test the fountain pen waters.

Newest acquisition arrived today. TWSBI Eco with a 1.1 stub nib. Currently have it inked with Noodler's Burgundy. HUGE reservoir - almost 2 ml.

Never used a stub before. I like it but it is definitely taking some getting used to.
