Any Texans here bold enough to wager a fiver against the Yanks?

Starting off exactly as I thought it would. CC got knocked around his last game and they were able to get by the Twins, but alas they are now playing a much better team and the real Yankees will show how they lose.

Yep, I didn't even see that Ws tickets went on sale yesterday. I woke up this morning all excited, gonna get some. Nope, sold out yesterday in 30 min. :cryloud:

This is exactly why I was rooting for the Rays to beat the Rangers. The Yankees have proven that they can hit pitchers that they're familiar with. They've a horrible record against pitchers that they've seen 2 games or less which is what they've got in Texas. That plus the fact that the Rangers offense is twice what the Rays can bring was sure to make this a close series. If the Yankees come out ahead I'd rather they face the Phillies for the same reasons, their pitchers have faced the Yanks before while the Giants starters are relatively unknown to them.

BTW, not giving up just yet but I would rather have seen CC on 3 days rest so we can have him back in game 7. Yeah Pettitte pitched well but CC on 3 days is a stud.

Good luck guys!!

I should have bet somebody somewhere. Here's what I posted Oct 5 on Twitter:

"I wached some Ranger games and saw some things that made me think it's their year. Darkhorses for sure, but don't count em out
