Anyone else have issues with the Drac?

If Pete decides to do a drawing next year, maybe he should just number all the boxes as he did this year, and then randomly draw numbers next year. Might make things a bit easier, and less bullshit.

I don't know if the drawing will live on, but I think he said that part of the point was to get people to open them and not sell them on ebay.

I'd be willing to bet that this box was cracked open to sell as singles, and then it ended up being sold complete, but the retailer should've let you know.

It's like I wouldn't be so mad about it if they just popped the seal to look inside....but they removed the paper so the cigars were flopping around without protection when they shipped. Not sure if the dracs had the cloth band holding them together like the boris...if so the cloth band was gone as well.

From what I was told they weren't to be sold on the internet, and only sold as singles..It caused a major problem with the store. So this explains why it was open and missing everything. 1 unopened box was to be at each store to be sold as is. The remaining box were opened and sold as singles so that all customers had the chance to get a drac/boris combo.

The bottom line is for guys that got a box and were opened and shit missing is you didn't buy em this way and they didn't tell you. It's bull shit and instead of candy coating it we should tell it like it is. If your a B&M selling whole boxes leave em the way you got em!
That being said my box of Boris was cracked 80% thru the seal like they were trying to hide it. WTF.

Pete commented at one time that because of the way they were doing it, it might end up that NO BODY who bought boxes got sealed ones -- assuming that he figured the retailers might just open up all the boxes looking for tickets.

But it's CRAP that they took off the black paper and just left the cigars in there ... that's not only rude but bad cigar care. Ironically, since you can also get tickets in the Boris boxes, they're also not that smart, lol!

Sorry about that, Eric, but at least you ended up with Monster boxes on your birthday! Other than the bad initial impression (which I agree sucks), in the end you probably throw out the paper anyway.

BTW, does you box stink? Many are saying they need to air out the Drac boxes.

The box stinks like hell...not sure why he decided to paint the inside of the boxes...I took them right out and wouldn't store them in there.

Agree with Phi Delt. Just put a serial number or box number inside the box and have them enter on a website. No box ... no winner.

Not that I'm defending what they did ,I think it was wrong but........ maybe they just opened the box to inspect the cigars or just plain curiosity...some vendors open random boxes for inspection.... ..I'm sure pete knows the box numbers that have the tickets.......
