Anyone ever buy from cheapercigars.com?

They suck! I ordered some cigars from them last month and still haven't received them. Placed the order on 4/17. Couple of weeks go by and I called and wrote emails asking what was up. Nothing. I called the fraud dept. of my bank and initiated a fraud claim to get my money back. This past Friday 5/7 I finally got an email with a UPS tracking number saying they shipped the stuff. At this point I just want my money back. I don't want them to have any of it. I can get the smokes elsewhere and will gladly wait a decent amount of time for delivery time. the fact that they've now sent the package changes the fraud claim into a whole other type of claim. It looks like I have to accept this damned package now and they get to keep my cash. It is the absolute last smidgeon of my money they will ever see. I would like to have the owner of that company over to my house where I would force him to smoke (inhaling all the way) every damned cursed cigar I bought from him. Suck-ass bastard.

PS I joined this board just to tell everybody this.

You can always refuse the delivery. Sorry you had to go through this.

OOoh yeah and concerning when I contacted the BBB. Cheapercigars never responded, and I think that says a lot. When I used to go on cigarlive they had an employee post up sales. I'd occasionally PM them about how I warn people against the company. So to say the least they in true form did not respond to any PMs either.

I'm with him.... I'd refuse delivery and continue my fraud claim! That way
you don't have to pay to send them back! Just give them the reason
that shipment took too long to be shipped and you've bought elsewhere!:applause:

I bought my first box from them. Great price but horrible service. Same story; took weeks to receive, no response when I called. Once they did arrive, they were packed in shredded newspaper. The day AFTER they arrived I got an email stating they had been sent.

Lynn Cigars thanks to posts on BOTL. I ordered some real cheap, I mean inexpensive cigars for right at a dollar a stick. They emailed me right back with an order # unlike the other guys.

So many cigars and so little time.

I've bought cigars from them a few times. Never had an issue, but you see that all the time these days; hit/miss customer service and delivery times.

Larry Lynn is one of the best independent retailers specializing in budget smokes. Old school personalized service. Low key and efficient. Also a big supporter of cigars for active military personnel programs. :angel: Have stunned a lot of peeps with some of his excellent bargain sticks. :yes:

After another month, no product. So, I finally sent an e-mail canceling my order and requesting a refund. Nika indicated they had been shipped (from the moon?) and a refund would occur. Honestly, I have bought dozens of items and cigars on the internet with great experience. This has been the absolutely worst customer service I have EVER had. I am now going to contact my credit card to pursue retrieving my funds.
Just bumping this to let buyers beware.

Thanks for the heads up, reading back through the thread, this sucks. And that my friends is butt another reason that the bulk of my purchases are made F2F.

I know there is a site which warns of individuals to stay away from. I'm wondering, does such a site exist for vendors to tread lightly with?

Do me and anyone else a favor. File a complaint with BBB. They are not members but the more complaints they get people will know they're bad news.

I had their site bookmarked until about 30 seconds ago. Never dealt with them. Something about their name didn`t appeal to me.

I get weary of things that have discount in the title. Cheap is even worse.

I am a 100% CI guy. I get everything the next day, and I enjoy their specials.
