I was an extra in The Doors Project as it was called. Early on in the film you'll see a Venice-type long-black-haired hippie poet spouting off.
I noticed a camera doing a close-up.
There was this one guy sitting there wearing a safari looking hat like digging on the poet:
it was Oliver Stone.
I was about eight feet away from them. I smiled at Stone and he nodded a little acknowledgement back at me. But I kept wondering like hey what is he doing like sitting there digging on this far-out poet?
When I finally saw the scene with him like in it, I said to myself,
"Oh... he was like doing his Hitchcock thing."
I didn't make it into the final cut.
Life in Hollywood is just as weird as they say it is, but it like does have its moments.
