Anyone into WW2 history?

My grandpa was a Seebee in the Pacific theater. He didn't like to talk much about it. I imagine it was pretty horrendous.

When he died I want to get his rifle with bayonnet. I wasn't that fortunate to get it though...

I also enjoy WWII hostory, mostly the European and African theaters.

I've got all my Grandpa's kit except for his .45.....He had always told me I could have it when I was old enough, and that it was in a safe place...So he dies unexpectedly, and I ask where it is....My Grandma (his ex-wife) SOLD IT IN A FUCKING PAWNSHOP for $150 a couple of years ago...Can you believe that shit?!?!
