  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I'd be more than happy to work something out, I enjoy doing it so it's no hassle.

Beautiful work, very nice the way it turned out. I have to ask (because nobody else did) - is that liquid in the bottom of the ashtray? Is that a thing down under?
It is just a painted aluminium sheet screwed into the base. We're not that strange haha

OK, thanks for clearing that up. All sorts of things going though my head - fear of wildfire, smell deodorizer... Really cool and a nice touch.
When I moved here to Japan, I made the mistake of giving up cigars and going with cigarettes. I have since rectified that, but, I tell you that so I can tell you this. Every single ashtray in this country has water in it. Unless it is a table ashtray, but even some of those have water in the bottom. The ones at work were an especially odd duck. The had one container for your ash, one container to dunk your cigarette in to kill it, then one container to drop the soaked butt into.

Japan IS that strange.
