Truckloads? How do you get truckloads past customs?

I'm guessing that was metaphorical. The writer clearly knew nothing about cigars. He wrote "1150 cigars" as if that were a huge number ... that's like 2 coolers worth (roughly 46 boxes).

If you look at the actual NYLJ it says trunkloads which would be more fitting. It looks like the original article was misquoted.

The judges "notes" about cigars are rather odd.

Dude was an idiot for continuing to defy the laws after being busted multiple times. He was in it purely to profit according to the story so I could care less that he got put away. Do I agree with the embargo and laws that follow, hell no.
