I ordered it from here, http://www.avallohumidors.com/Accumonitor.htmlThanks for the response. Wicks need replaced often to prevent mold. Don't know how you did it, but I can't order from their site... Never thought of beads in the canister but I'm skeptical... Where did you buy your acumonitor?
Don't think beads will work in the Canister?Just tried again with no luck... I've called but will try the email.
I refill 4 canisters every 2 months. I need an active system to keep up. Beads won't work in my case...
Ya I have the same Accumonitor as you do, but just recently set it up so I'm not sure how much water I am going to go through. I would assume it will be comparable to what you are using, looks like our cabinets are about the same size.....however mine doesn't seem to have the stock yours does yet haha.Just see a picture of yours. I suspect the same scenario with yours. You will need an active form of humidification unless you live in a humid climate (inside your home). Beads work great in wine coolers or regular coolers, and smaller wooden humidors with great seals. Large cabinets like ours won't have perfect seals and will loose humidification quicker than what a passive system can provide.
How often are you replacing them?, or how often should they be replaced for that matter. The wicks are $3 each. $75 lasts me a year...
