I prefer intact. However to take advantage of some super deals in the past, I have purchased unbanded/reboxed.

Depends on how much I trust my source. Bands dont really add flavor.:nodlaugh:

Depends how soon I want the cigars. If I use my asap vendor, they come bandless, but if I can wait, then they come in tact. Honestly though, it doesn't really matter.

any boxes have been banded, but given a proper deal, i would buy unbanded. but i prefer to have the bands on them as i collect them

Well the bands usually come seperate. With that said, I agree you have to really trust your vendor.
I have issues with not being able to see the cigar intact. It's more of a hassle to make sure you have a detailed list citing what's what w/o having the box for quick reference. Also I have had cigars arrive with some damage to the banded area.

I only deal with intact shops now.

I buy almost all unbanded but they ship the bands and boxes seperatly. It's a pain in the a$$ but I get extremely good service so I'm willing to put up with it.
