Knob Creek is surprisingly great imo. About $30 where I live.I would recommend Knob Creek rye and Willet Rye. Not sure about inexpensive, but definitely great ryes.
So at this point, Rittenhouse is my go-to for a cheap Rye, makes an excellent old fashioned! Love baby Saz, but its more expensive and harder for me to get. Just picked up some Overholt on clearance at Fred Meyers, hoping that works out as well.

I like trying new things, so I rotate around to alot of brands, but Rittenhouse Rye is the only thing I ALWAYS have a bottle of at home. When it runs out, I get a new one. Perfect for a manhattan - great in an old fashionedIt's good man, you'll love it.
