It is really nice, i got a ton of banana notes out of the bottle i had. Its on par with knob creek and makers 46every one be clear that it's not simply jack daniels, it's the single barrel reserve, which is surprisingly good and smooth.
Can't say I have.I really want to try a bottle of this and the tornado surviving stuff. Have you had the tornado surviving version yet?Let me know when we do the Col. Taylor single barrel split.....
I'll bring my truck, we can split the delivery money, half the bottling time and have a herf all at the same time.... Sounds like a plan to meFor 3 grand, I'll take a day and drive to Lynchburg, pick up the barrel, and then bottle it in "authentic Tennessee moonshine jars." I'll even print up some BOTL labels and adhere them to the jars. Just let me know. The barrel might attract some attention from law enforcement and onlookers as it will be tied down in the trunk of my civic.... but I'll get it done.
+1 on on the Sam.. Now who told you about that pairingIt is very good and balanced. It seems to have the age of a much more mature whiskey, if you can still find it I highly suggest that you get some. But that Weller is good, I believe that you are referring to the wheated one if it is $20. Now wheated bourbon is not my favorite but still you can't argue with the value. Another spirit that I like and so does my wallet is Sam Houston American Whiskey. At $23- $25 it is very good and pairs exceptionally well with smokes, especially Anejos!
