I just finished season 2.0 The DVDs for season 2.5 are in my Netfix queue. I thought that the 2.5 disks were actually season 3 ... or is this incorrect?

Not sure what the numbering scheme for the DVDs is, but season 3 just ended last Sunday, so they're not on DVD until this summer. I thought you had season 3 on your dvr or something. Season 3 has a different feel from the other 2 seasons, but it's still good.

That is incorrect.

Season 2 was split into two DVD sets. The first half was 2.0, the second half was 2.5 (confusing, I know).

Season 3 isn't out on DVD yet.

The new BSG is hands down, my favorite show on TV right now. There were a few shows that left me feeling kind of disappointed, but even then, I still watched them again and again. After watching them again after downloading the commentaries by director Ron Moore, I was only disappointed with one. Seems the plot holes I was pissed off about ended up on the cutting room floor....

I have the DVD's, and all the shows since then are actually taking up space on my DVR. Well, that and most of the episodes from the second season of Dr. Who, as well.

Huh, I may have outed myself as a Sci-Fi fan......

In that case I might as well say that I loved Firefly as well.

Firefly is (was) the greatest show in the history of EVER.

BSG is pretty damn good tho; definitely my favorite on TV right now (but I honestly don't watch much TV, so take that with a grain of salt).

Hmmm..Firefly's good, but not sure that good. LMAO.

I LOVE BSG though. I may have to go the route Duane's taking though now that I have the Plasma. Getting annoyed watching the SD version of the show. I still can't believe that the friggin SciFi channel doesn't have a frickin' HD CHANNEL!!!

BSG in HD is over on the Paramount HD channel (they show Firefly in HD too, which is way-cool).

But since it's not on Sci-Fi proper, it's technically "second run syndication" so it's 6-months behind the Sci-Fi channel. It kinda sucks to be 6-months behind, but it's a trade-off I'm willing to do for HD.

Just avoid reading anything about season 3 on the internet. Lots of spoilers around.
Unfortunately, season 4 doesn't start until Jan 2008.
:argh: :disappoin
I have been watching it from the start on Sci Fi and I love it. BUT I CAN NOT BELIVE THEY ARE GOING TO DRAG THIS OUT TILL 2008.
