Two of my cameras can take video, I am half afraid to do it, I may end up with hours of trees waving in the wind and a lot of dead batteries. I may give it a try, ya almost have me talked into it.

The better half and I went up to sit on the porch at the cabin and smoke a Kristoff and one of the neighbors stopped by for a visit, about 30 feet away, he hung around for a couple minutes then split.

Bear on trail cams is cool. Bears coming up to your house in broad daylight with you on the porch.....not so much.

Seems like your local bears are losing all fear of man, and that never ends well. For man or for bear.

Id let your local DEC officers know, if they dont already, to try to get them a tad further from your dwelling. Without fear, their a lot like teenagers, they will push their limits a little more each time, and without recourse they will eventually be at your doorstep.

Yeah, I know what ya mean, but the local pgc won't do anything since it's just a cabin. Also, I have too many to trap, I can identify at least 11 different bears between the 3 trail cams I have out. My cabin is a mile off the main road and it just a private gated road that I own that goes up there so technically, I am in their house messing around.
That's why I always carry Mr. smith and Wesson along, model 629 in .44mag.
