....and "No" I'm not talking about beer goggles!

Since I've been drinking "Craft Beer" I honestly believe that drinking the beer out of the right glass truely makes a big difference in my opinion!

I will not drink a good Craft Beer from the bottle but that's just me. Just wondering what you other Craft Beer drinker's think about drinking from the right glass!

(These are just the one's I have in my office.)

I'm with you there Larry. Btw, nice collection of glasses. For me, I primarily use 3 glasses a snifter, tulip or an occasional pint/imperial pint. IMO, the glass helps focus the aroma's to enhance the tasting experience. Most time's when I try a new beer to me, I'll take a whiff of it first and then a sip... just a habit developed for my enjoyment.

I try to match beers to their proper glasses: Pint, Imperial Pint, Tulip, or Goblet... except I can't seem to keep the tulips around for too long. I always break the damn things while washing them.

PS: Nice collection of glasswear!

Absolutely makes a difference, and should never be overlooked. Might not always be entirely feasible to the degree we'd prefer, but some sort of proper glass should always be used. Just like a snifter for liquors and all the different kinds of wine glasses, the proper stemware or glassware is essential if you're truly passionate about your spirits. They help to store it properly, so that it breathes correctly, the nose is aromatic and the spirit or beverage hits your palette correctly.

Wife got me a set of craft glasses for Christmas. I now use them except for the wheat glass. Not big on wheat beers and they give me a bad reaction

I have issues with Wheat beers as well. The ones that bother me the most are the Malt beverages.

I use a pint glass for everything, but you all have made me think more about my methods.

Larry, I couldn’t agree more. The right glass is very important. I only drink out of a bottle when I am at a party. Other than that, I always have a glass. The interesting thing about this topic, is that I was recently in Europe and I was blown away at how every beer I ordered came in the correct glass, with the name of the beer on the glass. Not once was I given a beer in the wrong glass, or even a glass for a different beer label. One of my favorite glasses was the Kwak beer in Belgium.

I have a bunch of glasses. Many are tulips or goblets due to my penchant for brewing belgian ales. I also have some tuplip pints for my stouts and IPAs. I love my highly carbonated dry tart saisons, possibly my favorite type of beer. I tend to drink them in a large duvel type glass. It's a perfect match I think. I have seen dedicated saison glasses as tall skinny glasses the type you'd see a German Kolsch served in.

I've always like the Chimay glasses. For some reason, I used to have a dozen or so and I can only find 2. I'm thinking my wife may have something to do with that lol. She hates "writing" of any kind on glasses, plates etc. Me, I love my John Deere plates. G1

Yep yep yep. All pint glasses for me and never out of the bottle. As far as Larry's glass collection goes I think we will see him on the next episode of hoarders between them, the beer, and the cigars he has:)
You know Marty that's pretty damn sad....but oh so true my friend!

Did you know: The technique you use to fill your cup at a keg party isn't the technique you want to use all the time. In fact, if you pour an entire bottled beer down the side of your glass, its carbonation won't be fully released, and you'll basically swallow gas.

For a proper pour hold the glass at a 45° angle and pour slowly down the side (at first). Once the glass is about ½ full hold it straight and pour the rest of the beer right down the middle, raising the bottle smoothly.
