The closest I came to drinking beer was brewing up a batch of a my Belgian Dark Strong, and drinking some tea made with hops and sweetened with dark Belgian candi syrup to cut through some of the bitterness. Nothing better when I have a cold than a strong cup of hops tea.

Terrapin and Shmatlz present a beer for hope.

Dark ale brerwed with cocoa nibs, vanilla, and chili peppers.

Very interesting, has a spicey kick at the end.
Had a bottle of this last week. Slight spice on the end as you said and definitely interesting. I'll have to pick up another one.

Southern Star Buried Hatchet Stout
St. Arnolds Amber Ale
Southern Star Bombshell Blonde

,...Texas beers!

Smokin a San Martin Pyramide (Peruvian puro), an excellent cigar!
I was in TX after Christmas and picked up some St. Arnolds and Southern Star. The brewery is where I used to live (Conroe). Good beers. Always a fan of St. Arnolds!
