My very first Bhk 52 a long time ago was disappointing... not sure if it was because of anticipation, cuz I was freezing my ass off outside, or if it was simply the cigar. I have pretty much only smoked 54's since and enjoy them. There were a lot of people that didn't care for the 2011's and early 2012's... what is your box code? Also, are you positive they are authentic?

Either way, many people will be left underwhelmed due to the price per cigar and/or the "hype" of smoking a Behike. A cigar can be hard to live up to the name sometimes.

I like them, but they're not something I would buy again unless it was a steal of a deal. It's more a have it to have it and get it once type of a buy.

I'm also an occasional smoker so, it makes a bit more sense if I go big for a smoke every other week or so.

I'm a 62 guy, seems to work best for me and CCs

Frak. I have 2011.

And yes. 99% sure they are authentic. Bought from a LCDH

Why are you scared, cigars are incredibly durable, it's not like they dry out in a day or a week or a month, unless of course you leave it out and there is 8% humidity, you are in the Philippines aren't you, I am not sure but isn't the humidity usually pretty high there any way?

I'm pretty sure my hygros are caliberated. I've salt tested them several times over the years.

But I already ordered a boveda calobration kit just to be extra sure.

Does it live up to the hype? Not to me. Do I enjoy them? Absolutely. They are a great cigar, just not necessarily what cigar media or habanos would have you believe. Their construction is impeccable and they are really a luxury item (much like most cigars). You get a beautiful box that you can reuse as a dry box or for pocket items. The bands are really very cool, and you can say you tried one. If that isn't worth the cost of admission then I'd pass. For the same price or less you can land some great aged stock.

The old get in on the early release adage holds well for the Behike. The 2010-2011 stock I've had is amazing, while the later is inconsistent and sometimes quite unforgettable for the wrong reasons.
