When I lived in S. Florida I'd ride my motorcycle down to the Keys and had a nice big windshield and cigar holder and while looking out over the water while smoking a great cigar I had to pinch myself to understand how fortunate I was to enjoy this moment in life. One place isn't any better than others as much as it's how certain places make us feel...that's why they call them "special places."
Well said!

Damn, those were never near any of my classes. Then again, I was a commuter, so I spent most of my time walking from the parking lots about a half mile away to class.
We used to sneak down into the tunnels when we had basketball camp there in the 90s, and it was pretty creepy down there.

I went to Tampa a couple years ago, before I started smoking cigars and regret it. Because there is a cigar shop on every single corner. I would love to go back to burn on there. Same is said for Charleston, SC. Beautiful, historic city that I would absolutely love to move to and seems cigar friendly.

Growing up in California I ha e very fond memories of the Monterey Bay. My grandparents had a house there that is still in the family. Average year round temps never get above the 80's and never below the 40's. Not sure about cigar taxes but I would retire to the Carmel area and play golf non stop with a stogie in hand.
