Best round for killing zombies?

.22 you can carry a lot of the rounds and it has the capacity to take out a brain.

Shotguns have large spray, but dont have the brain destroying capability.

I think I agree. A modified high-capacity clip for a .22 would be great if you're a good shot (I'm not, lol). Less noise, but still get's the job done.

But even better would be a nice compound bow. Nearly silent, and you can always retrieve some of your ammo and even make more if needs be.

And you've got to have a melee weapon on hand. Sure you HOPE they never get that close, but it's better to be prepared. I'm thinking katana for me.

Not sure I'd use rounds/shells, since, as I'm sure we're all aware, the noise just serves to attract more of 'em. But if the point is pass on tissue damage and be sure to hit 'em in the head, I'm carrying buckshot. Not sure which would be best, but I'd have to start with 0 and test my way to tri-ball. I'll let you know what I find.

I'd rock a suppressor on something like a 45 UMP. Nice subsonic round and has 25 round magazines. For longer ranges I'd put a can on an AR

In reality (hah reality talking about zombie warfare), I would probably have at least a couple of just about everything, hell I'd probably have a tank if I could figure out how to drive it home, but I think I would revert back to the .22s when I got over the novelty of blowing zombies in half with a .50 cal

I saw some of these targets at my local sporting goods store. Thought about getting a packet of them. But they were twice as much as their regular targets.
