best weather in the country

Some MD schools will cut the Spring break short a day or two. Most teachers like the entire Summer months off like David does. Gives them more time to fix up the baby room and make Heather happy.

This will be the first summer I have off. I usually chill out the second part of June and then go on the clock for the month of July with the custodians since they have to pull every piece of furniture out of the rooms to wax. Then I chill for the first 2 weeks of August and we usually report back around the 16th of August. All in all, I get about 1 month off.

Don't know what this summer will present since the due date is July 11th. Since I live only 3 miles from the school, I may go on the clock as soon as school let's out the second week of June and work until the baby is born.

Wednesday was our last built in snow day. Today and tomorrow represent 2 days cut off of spring break. Not a biggee in my mind since this year's spring break is the longest ever. We had Good Friday and then the whole following week off. Now we have good Friday and then Monday-Wednesday off. That is plenty.

Thats not bad. They added on to the end of the year. It was my sons senior year and it really sucked.

The extra money comes in handy. They pay me as a 14 year custodian since i have been teaching for 14 years. It's like 13 bucks an hour to move furniture and wax floors.
