Love the CJs. The PCs - not so much, but I'll keep trying them. I just find them lacking that strong, earthy profile I love so much in the CJs.

Lol. I acknowledge it doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but to my tastes, I definitely prefer the Jr's.

No, it's all good. I find it fascinating that the little size difference that there is makes a world of difference in the flavor.

I have a box of '03 CJ's and they've still got quite a bit of kick to them. Hell, I think they've gotten stronger in the past 6 months?!?

I can understand a difference in people's tastes, but I've always found BPCs to be quite earthy. I've had every year since 2002. IMHO, 02, 09 & 11 the best. Haven't opened 12 or 13 yet.

Sure, the PCs have a typical bolivar earthiness, but I just find the jrs to have a darker, richer type of earth. Good to hear the 09s are among the best as I still have 7 left from a box split. Most of my (more limited) experience has been with 07 and 08 BPCs.

I also prefer the other boli vitolas to the PC. Especially CEs, RCs and BBFs.

i had a fresh one and one with barely two years on it recently and they were both different experiences.

the 13 was strong, had a chip on its shoulder and a tad harsh toward the end. still an awesome aroma and flavors.

the 11 was a bit more earthy and smooth. still had some balls though.

i'm still new to cigars and prolly talking outta my ass, but those were my experiences. definitely gonna scoop up a box soon.
