I do the same as well. I'm pretty sure I've seen a couple of brothers bidding and I have withheld my bid because of it. I'm never bidding on things I "must have now" so there's no sense running up the price on another brother.

I only buy yard gars on those sites and only if I can get them cheaper than $2 a stick so I'm not battling anybody for sticks. However, if I see a BOTL I wouldn't bid them up unless it was Hoshneer!

I've had someone notice my initials on the devil site and ask I they could split the box so as not to outbid me. This kind of thoughtfulness is what makes people on this forum great. If I get snipped I get snipped there only cigars after all!
