GOAL REACHED! 50 T-Shirts sold to support Operation Esteli, 2014!

Yes... you can buy as many shirts as you would like between now and May 16th.. 50 was just the "magic number" we were trying to reach in order to get the word out and help raise funds for our project.. If we sell 100.. thats just that much closer we get to our total fundraising goal of $7500....

This week's results...
1st Place - Sdshark - two big auction wins pushes the shark out in front...
2nd Place - King Kill 33 - Doug stays on the leaderboard this week with his t-shirt purchase and large corporate grant
3rd Place - Smoqman - Joel jumps onto the Esteli invitation list this week with an auction donation and matching funds pledge..
To dated we have $2455 in donations, pledges, and commitments.. we're a third the way there in only 2 weeks! AWESOME JOB guys!
If you owe for an auction or any other commitment, please get those funds in as soon as you can so we can keep things rolling and maintain a good understanding of how far we've come and how far we still have left to go...
Keep checking the auction room... several really good ones are coming up soon... and stay on the look out for a raffle... thats going to be the most exciting opportunity of them all I believe...
Also... go to the first page of this thread and look at the list of sponsors we've had come onboard with Operation Esteli... these guys are supporting us... We're moving the goal posts on you
We've talked to booster.com and have raised the goal to 75 shirts!
We're at 52 today... we've got 19 days left on the campaign... there's no reason we cant reach the new goal...

cant reveal exactly how we're going to do this yet... but... members that have purchased an Operation Esteli T-Shirt will be given a "perk" related to our upcoming raffle...
The raffle is shaping up to be one of the biggest/coolest events of the year.. Operation Esteli sponsors have donated some AWESOME prizes already.. and more are coming in every day.... There are some really killer items that are going to be up for grabs.. (if you cant tell.. I am super excited about the OE raffle!)...

1st Place - Sdshark -Steve retains the top slot for another week.. His two auction wins and t-shirt purchases keep him out in front!
2nd Place - King Kill 33 - Doug remains in the #2 position! Going to be hard to catch these top two leaders...
3rd Place - Smoqman - Joel barely edges out cigarblunk this week and retains position #3! (2 t-shirts could boost you ahead of Joel next week Josh )...
Fund raising was a little bit slot this week.. to date we have just under $2900 in donations, pledges, and commitments.. we do have another decent auction ending tomorrow however and Joel's liga auction ends on Monday.. so we should be pretty close to being back on track by the first of next week..

I know.. I know.. we moved the goal posts on you last week... Brad, E, and I think the new goal is totally reasonable though.. and.. its for the kids right?
We've got 2 weeks left before the t-shirt campaign ends.. and then they are gone.. never to be seen again... If you want one.. and havent purchased it yet... now is the time!
If youre on the fence.. and need a little motivation.. I'll try to offer some...
In July, my wife and I be traveling to Pamplona to Run With The Bulls... the traditional "costume" for this event is to wear all white, with a red scarf and sash...

If we reach our goal.. I'll forgo the white shirt.. and will proudly wear my Operation Esteli 2014 T-shirt in its place on my run.. I'll take plenty of pics of my silly (i.e. stupid) self... and post them up here once complete (assuming survival )....
Who else is up to taking a challenge? IF we reach our goal, what are you willing to do or where are you willing to go while wearing your OE T-shirt?
If enough people can come up with enough ideas... and actually be willing to follow through... that would actually be a pretty cool thread... pics of the OE shirt being worn while BOTL's engage in outrageous (or even daily/common) activities..
