There is no postal service set up here yet.. the only way to get anything into the country is through DHL or by an international freight forwarder...
the current cost to send a letter sized envelope is just under $100... I have no idea what a single soccer ball would cost.. but Im guessing more than a couple of hundred dollars..
the way we bring things into country is to buy them in Kenya or Uganda and then truck them to Juba.. or we make purchases in the US.. and whenever someone from the states heads over to our project site, we pack the items in our checked luggage...
You could mail your items to my address in the US.. and then I could mule them over here the next time I come over (Ill be back in late may or early june I believe).. but mailing direct to Juba isnt really an option right now...
