Thank you Gavin for the kind words. I enjoyed your opening post and share the expession of brotherhood with you. The generosity you have shown me today as well in the previous times we have herfed together has been up to and above the attribute we here value as BOTL. The custumized humidor looks great! And it was nice to embibe in your Scotch tonight.:) Thank you!

Holy moly, gavin! Well done, and two great targets, both are so deserving for the reasons listed previously and more. Jdog was the first person to bomb me a few years ago, out of nowhere. His bomb strapped a rocket to my rear as I was sliding slowly down the slope. WB responded to a pass I received in the maw thread and blew me away. Also, Sean's right, he's the evil Mr. Rogers, no one knows just how much he does for the community. Thanks again, Gavin. This made my night.

I'm truly speechless and humbled by your generosity Gavin. It was great meeting-up to enjoy a smoke, a drink, and a few laughs at CdM Wednesday night.

BOTL means a lot to me. When I first joined, I viewed it as a resource to learn more about cigars from like-minded hobbyists. An employee at Outlaw Cigar told me about the forum back in 2009 and how I would love it because many of the members had similar cigar preferences. I regret waiting until 2011 to join, because the forum isn’t just a resource; as you mentioned in your first post, it is a brotherhood!

I’ve developed some great friendships on BOTL these last few years. And because of BOTL I can look forward to building new friendships as the community grows.

Your generosity is over-the-top Gavin. Thank you again!

Sometimes I forget just how special this place is for me, and it's gestures like Gavin's that serve as remembrance of how strong the Brotherhood is here.

Thanks, Gavin, you made my day.

Final Thoughts-

Craig posted a great thread a few days ago about the brotherhood, and it was exactly what we needed to hear.

BoTL is a place for us to be ourselves, without malice or prejudice. I consider a number of you guys really close friends and in most cases we have met only a few times, or in some cases never in person.

When you where kid and you went visit your grandparents, you saw that your grandfather had a pocket watch; you asked, "Grandpa, why do you have a watch that goes in your pocket and everyone else has one on there wrist?". Your grandfather stared at you for a minute, made a "hurumph" sound and then explained the type of man that has a pocket watch and the type of man that wears a watch on his wrist. You listened intently as he described times past and all you could think about was how much you wanted one as well. To anyone else the story would have been a funny old mans rambling; but too you it was a heartfelt story. This is BoTL.

If BoTL wasn't here none of us would fit in; we would be the "douchbags" in the local B&M that talked about the flavor, and construction of a cigar while others sat around and asked why we couldn't just shut up and enjoy the stick. BoTL gives us a place to gather and talk about specifics without being labeled or frowned upon, and in the process lets us grow together in the hobby and take it too its potential. Even when we all get together at HERF's and talk about the newest brands and sticks in the way we do others look at us like we are crazy, but too us its the ultimate form of expression and love of the hobby when we can do it in person together.

The bother-hood shouldn't be entered for monitory gain, but personal instead. Of course your gonna get your ass handed too you once or twice, but what you gain in other senses is whats most important.

Dont let crappy reasons be what causes rifts between a brotherhood as tight as ours; and don't like outside situations be why it falls apart for you (trust me its not worth it)

Next time your standing in line at the local post office and your next in line but the elderly woman in front of you is busy asking the person at the desk what the difference is between this months commemorative stamps; instead of getting mad just remember that she is doing what she loves, and so are we. Maybe she is bombing members of the GoTS (grandmother-hood of the stamps) board and is about to make someones day.

Look forward to getting to know you guys better,

Gavin
