I've been meaning to try the La Traviata for some time, because I gave up on CAO a year or two ago. I've heard mixed reviews, but there are enough good ones to keep me interested.

I like the La Traviata. I get cedar, roasted nuts, leather, anise, and a touch of pepper. Its made with an Ecuadoran Habano wrapper, Cameroon binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers so it will have a different flavor profile than many of the mostly peppery Nicaraguan cigars that are popular nowadays. It is tasty and a great value imho.

If you are looking for another "budget priced" good cigar you might want to try the El Baton by JC Newman.

The one I smoked, I didn't get half way through before I decided to chuck it. Just wasn't digging it at all, maybe I just got an "off" stick?
