So yesterday was my last day of my work week. So I went to the gym & got in a good workout once my work day was done. I was on my way home. I was three blocks from my house on a call with a friend. I was stopped at a red light when a car came out of nowhere & hit me. I never saw it coming. I got push out into the intersection. I got out of my car after hitting the four ways & approached the other car. As I jumped out I felt my back pull. The guy wouldn't even get out of his car. He wanted me to move. I said no chance in hell. I told him to get out of the car since i saw he was still in gear & was trying to get away. I must admit I wanted to yank him through his window & beat him into the pavement. Of course I did not. Since he & his two underage passengers made it evident that they needed to leave then & there I called 911. He tried to leave so I stood in front of his car & gave the car description, licence plate number, & descriptions of all three people to dispatch. I told him go ahead & run the cops know who you are. He got out & told me lets settle this, I got you. He pulled like $40 out of his pocket. I just laughed in his face & told him to back away from me. The police, fire, & ems were very fast to respond. All of them were 100% professional & nice. I saw the cops question him & give a sobriety test after ems said the car reeked of booze. He failed & was promptly taken to jail. His car is in impound & he is in jail. I didn't want to go to the hospital, but my blood pressure was boarder line for a heart attack & I had back pain. So I called my fiance & a friend to get my car home. I spent about five hours in the e.r. X Rays & cat sans all night. They said I'm ok just have some pulled muscles & tendons from the jerking motion. Lucky I had a seat belt on. I am very soar today. I was given two prescriptions. One for percocet & one for hospital strength i.b. profen. I'm not big on narcotics so I'll go today & get the i.b. profin filled. My car is actually ok, I think. Just some chipped paint. I'm extremely soar & angry about all this. But I guess that doesn't help anything. I guess it could have been worse.
