so... who here smokes in their vehicle? for americans especially, it seems at times to be the last bastion of personal space, and partially an extension of self (who actually says "your vehicle hit my vehicle", right?).

just got through a nasty commute through the first winter storm of the season here, and a fausto was really, to me, the game changer from agonizing gridlock to tolerable torment. so i would like to hear other points of view.

I smoke in my car almost every morning to work. On average my commute is 1:15 minutes. I definitely agree - it makes the experience a lot more enjoyable.

I do, but then again I have an old Buick with very little miles that is like my pleasure boat cruiser. Sometimes when I get out of work on 2am on like a Tuesday, it's my private cigar lounge on wheels before calling it a night.

Part of the enjoyment of smoking a cigar (for me) is really taking an hour or two to relax, I don't think I'd be able to do that while driving. Basically the same reason I don't smoke outside while it's freezing out (luckily I can smoke in my house).

Wouldn't you like to know?

I don't smoke all the time in my new car but if you are stuck in traffic it can help you relax. It is amazing that if you know you are going to be stuck for say an hour and a half and light an apropiately long cigar you are no longer in a rush. If you don't you can be the road rage idiot trying to change lanes all the time or drive on the shoulder. I am a much more polite driver with a lit cigar.

I do quite regularly as well. The best is to own a car with leather & a sunroof. Open the sun roof a tad bit, best to just open the back. Then turn on your air or heat and point the air up. Then every time you exhale, it goes right out the sun roof. I rather enjoy it on road trips and have been know to burn my lips because it is so good.

Yeah, all the time. It's the best way to drive.
Exactly. I used to have a long commute and would have a cigar on the ride home, which was a great way to end the day. I kind of miss the long commute just for that reason.

And for any long trips I'll have 3 or 4 on the way. It's the only way to travel!

I smoke in mine everyday. One on my way to work and one on the way home from work. I don't have a particularly long drive but it makes it sooo much easier to not hate the dumb drivers on the road.
