Like the dryer sheet idea!:cbig:It works great. Most people would never know I smoke in my car. I put a dryer sheet in under my seat every week and smoke away with the neg pressure. It works like a charm.
Anyone try this in a SUV or a Van?Not exactly. You don't want all windows open, you just want one and preferably the driver's side open about an inch or so. The A/C or heat should be blowing out the floor with all other vents closed.
What you're trying to do is create negative air pressure. If done properly, every bit of smoke will be "exhausted" out the driver's side window because that is the airflow you've created. No smoke, or smell, remains in the car.
With multiple windows open you lose the negative air pressure and smoke will swirl around the cabin.
nononononono DOUSE THEM in the nearest half finished beverage. duh.I don't know, my car smells badly of cigars even days later. I should probably quit stomping them out on the floor.
Precisely this! Been doing it for years with much success. The dryer sheet idea is new to me, but I'm going to try it. Leather seats seem to help too since they absorb less. Not exactly.
