I have FAR less experience than many/most here, but the only one's I've liked with less than 3 years on them are the Bolis I've had, though aged are still better. Oh, and the Party Short. The rest have all been "blah," especially if I've had them aged for comparison. The '08 Trini Coloniales I had recently was decent, but boring compared to the '05, and so imvho, a waste.

This and the colonials as well imo. 898v also from 09 are crazy good. I'm the opposite with Rass and Psd4s though. Ruff burn and relights for me on freshies. Also like erdm choixs with a year or more when young. Also Lots of pc sized cigars imo smoke well young imo.

I usually agree on the MC#2s, but today's ABR 09 was incredibly harsh. No, not fake. Hopefully just going through a sick period. I still think that for my taste, the best fresh cigar is a Bolivar PC.

I've had the last third - quater go soft and harsh on the Monte #2, but that's about 1.5 -2 hrs into the smoke. Not a problem for me.

How about the R&J Short Churchill? I recently had a friend tell me he smoked his 1/2 box and they never got sick at all. He finished them all before they were a year old. I've only had one, and it had a tight draw, tasty nonetheless.

Trinidad Robusto Ts are really good fresh. They are better as they age, but they are smokable very fresh, i.e. 2010 box codes.

Aged Trinidad Robusto T's? Weren't they introduced 2009 and I really wouldn't consider them as aged.
