@3/5King SSA
6.5/7" x 50/52?
Toothy wrapper, milk chocolate brown
Triple cap with great construction. Firm throughout, slightly lumpy
Paired with Seattle's best medium roast and my new badass t shirt
After clipping the tip it smells like hay. Not hay like, but literally hay as if I'm at an Apple orchard in the fall.
Cold draw bets nothing but I really get much there. A lil spice sets in on the tongue after.
fire get up with my xikar double torch axia? lighter I think it's called.
Draw is effortless which I love and the opening gate reveals a lil spice, a strange spice like cinnamon candy almost. Time to puff a bit and take it in...
As the first third develops the sweet retro remains intact. Unique flavor for me, strange almost. Not what I expect from a cigar. I'm guessing this is the dragon's milk cigar from asylum in the early going since that's the only thing I can think of that would put off such a strange flavor that I wouldn't expect. I haven't drank for over nine years so I missed the craft beer ramp up and have nothing to compare to other than a sheer guess. But it's my blind review, I can guess what I want.
Burning slightly uneven and ash lightly flaky. Wife is annoyed by the picture.
As the first third closes the retro remains. Almost annoying at this point since at first it was unique, now it's kind of gross.
The gross factor continues to climb. I'm almost willing to bet money this is the dragons milk cigar and at their price point ($16 iirc) I find it ludicrous that people bought them other than for novelty. Can't imagine this aging well or anyone wanting more than one. I might not even make it halfway through this one as I'm debating MUing it and grabbing a proven winner to rescue my palette.
One more puff....yep, Fuck this
This is where I'm drawing the line
