Cigar Bands and Empty Boxes

J where do you get those exact coasters? Need them for another similar project!

You can find them at pretty much any department store but I get them at CVS or kohls for 3ish a set on sale.

any ideas how to mount these to a surface? got a coffee table, looks like a bright red school locker on it's side, and wanted to finish the entire top with bands. need adherence, visibility after being sealed, and hopefully some durability to the finished piece (it IS a table top, after all).

Glue stick and either a clear coating like hendy uses for his travel humidors or cover the whole thing with a piece of glass.

When I lived in Florida, the club room in our National Guard armory had a bar with all kinds of pins, badges, etc. in the top. From what I gather, they placed (or more likely glued) the items in place and poured what I assume to be epoxy over the whole thing. Did the trick, lasted until they decided to tear it down...

I used some of my favorite Tat bands to make an iPhone case, looks great and gets a ton of compliments from even non-cigar smokers who have zero clue what Tatuaje is. Easy to do too, my one word of caution is to not over-do it. Phone cases fit snuggly, and it's easy to end up with the bands being too thickly layered up to fit in the case well.
