Are you writing the script to publish the XML yourself or using someone elses? Just curious cause the one I have now just generates podcasts from a directory which is kinda asstastic.

Most likely use Loudblog. It even supports the iTunes-specific enclosures. You can use Wordpress to syndicate a podcast but I didn't like how it currently works.

I tried to set up the itunes specific tags in wordpress cause that is what I am running but it was a pain in the butt. Once you have those tags you can submit your site and a lot of them are just everyday joes with podcasts on the itunes listings.

The other problem I have with Wordpress is that it pulls your site title as the show name. So it pulls up "BOTL Cigar Blog". Is there any way you can change this?

I just discovered BOTL after googling some cigar content and seeing my friend Dave Hitt's podcast mentioned.

I began working on a cigar podcast in late summer and finally got all the pieces to come together and launched the first of what will be many shows at the very end of October. The more places we have to go for information, and general herf-related enjoyment the better.

There are 3 other cigar podcasts out there, I dunno if it would be worth as much trouble... but it would be cool to do occasionally if there was a place to regularly get together and record.

EDIT: or using skype.
