I also like Balvenie Doublewood and JW Black.

The best I had was the Dalmore Cigar Malt - but not made anymore. It was blended to go with cigars. I took it to a herf and it was emptied in no time flat.
They dont make it any more, but you can find it out there. If you do see a bottle I suggest picking it up.:jitb:

Black Label is always good to have around relatively cheap and goes with pretty much everything. If you like single malts sherry or port cask finish is the way to go some of my personal favourites are Taliskar, Macallan, Glenmorangie, Glenlevit and Lagavulin. oh yeah the Japanese make good scotch too.

while they don't make the cigar malt anymore, Dalmore has been revamped and re-released in 12, 15, +++ ages. It is still fabulous, I recommend picking up some if you can. One of the better Highlands...

I would definitely recommend a bottle of Highland Park 18yo. Ow and "the older is the better" just isn't true. Especially with peated whiskies, cause peat loses it's "power" the older it gets.
