They look good.

I will let them rest a bit for sure before smoking some. I have a few singles of each so I don't have to break into the boxes as of just yet.

They just popped up for sale on a very common site. I hope they end up being good but the initial reactions I've heard have not been positive and to be honest I don't have the slightest interest in them. I love the Cohiba line as it is. I think the move to Maduro's is chasing a trend that Cuba doesn't need to chase. To me, I just don't see how a Maduro wrapper can improve on the current Cohiba flavor profile, but maybe that's just me. And who knows, in a few years I might try one and love one. I just don't think so.

Best of luck to those who want them. As a side note, quite a few other 2007 releases are also now available.

While the maduro decision was no doubt meeting a market trend or demand I think it was good to do so. The Limited Edition line essentially tries for the same with darker wrappers. Does a Cohiba maduro wrapper result in a flavor change. The answer is yes. Just as vermouth, bitters or any other minor addition to your favorite cocktail makes a decided flavor difference so too does the wrapper. Try to take a cigar apart and smoke the individual components. How do they taste separately versus the beautiful complexity of an aged cigar. Voila!!

Again, every marca/vitola is personal preference.

Which 2007's have been released? I checked out about 5 legit sites I know of, I see the Cohiba's ,but not any EL 2007's. I'm waiting for the Trinidad's.

I haven't seen the Trinidads released yet, only the HdMs and RyJs. But that was at one site I checked that usually has everything before anyone else.

Does it take you like an hour to post when you have to capitalize every word in every sentence??
