I don't think spending 285% more on a holster makes your life more valued to yourself than a $70-80 model. A $200 holster isn't going to save your life any more than a $70 holster will.

 That.

If you've got the money for the more expensive holster, then by all means. We all buy things now and then when less expensive, "will get the job done" alternatives are available. A holster just isn't going to be one of those things for me. I plan on picking up a SuperTuck in the near future, and that's probably about as expensive as I would go.

As to the whole Kimber/Glock thing. Meh. I've never had anything to complain about with the Glocks I've fired. I think the trigger is a great positive (same pull everytime, easy to get used to). At the same time, they do absolutely nothing for me aesthetically. Yeah, yeah, I know, they are TOOLS, whatever, I like my firearms to be pleasing to the eye as well and glocks just are not. I love my H&K UPS Compact, but for carry it will be my Kimber Pro. I just think the single-stack 1911 was meant for concealment.

When it comes to holsters, especially one that you will be carrying a lot, comfort and fit should come first, price second. If the less expensive one is comfortable then I'd say go for it. :)
