In the spirit of science I decided to experiment with different batters used to create the deepfried Oreo.

I wanted to make something crunchy so I used coconut and panko for texture.

Results:
The panko were nice and crunchy as well as the coconut, though a mixture of buttermilk and panko was the best.

They were like crunchy chocolate fritters.

I made about 6 and ate them all. Soon after I fell asleep.

When I awoke, I stumbled my way to the bathroom and puked.

Conclusion:

This recipe is a keeper :thumbsup:

The Bloomsburg fair, I've been to that a few times, but not in the last 15 years.

That's a boy! They are great but you have to eat in moderation. So good though. Glad you liked them.
