Leave it to me to post at 3 am! The RyJ Churchills EL 2001 I received were NOT tubed of course.

Thanks for quoting me anyway.
I've never heard of a RyJ Churchills EL 2001, tubed or not, unless this is a non-cuban. :dunno:

September 2005, my girlfriend and I threw a wine tasting party. Everyone that showed up brought a Napa Valley Cabernet, and the idea was to try and figure out through blind tasting, which wine was which.
My friend Mark decided that he would bring some cigars, and we would also do a blind tasting, and he bet me a drink at the bar that I would be able to spot the ISOM.
After three of us lit up cigars, and passed them around, I picked one of them, and said," you guys can have those, I'll stick with this one".
Guess which one I picked?

I was corrupted about 15 years ago but quit cigars for about ten years with the exception of golf tournaments and special occasions. Really just got back into them a couple years ago and became re-born. Habanos were much harder to find 15 years ago. With the advent of the Internet they have become so much more available thus I was really restarted completely once I joined CW.

Well count me as a victim then Kevin, cause I am Cuban TOAST thanks to your original newbie sampler to me! Really I am not sure I want to say thank you or DAMN you Tubaman. Maybe both, I say thank you for doing this, but my wallet and checkbook do not.

My first was a box of Cohiba Esplendidos sent by a customer. I smoked one then put them away for special friends. They got better and better with age. The guy that corrupted me was another customer who when I offered him a CAO Brazilia gave me an H. Upman Sir Winston instead. That cigar was so good that I went looking. Sitting in one of my favorite B&M's one day I could not help but notice the aroma of a CC. The owner pointed out he was smoking a BBF and then introduced me to their back room. Turns out this is the same place my customer purchased. An unbelieveable assortment at "reasonable" prices ($15 to $17) if you bought by the box. When they increased prices I went looking and a great guy at CI turned me on to a few websites he and his managers bought from. Gradually the NC's became less and less appealing.

I corrupted three or four guys that I regualy smoke with by innocent gifts.:innocent:
