I wouldn't smoke any of them prior to authopsying one first, to ensure there's indeed tobacco in there...I think they would make a good dog rocket. Maybe to get him to donate them to the OE dog rocket challenge
100% agree. Its was really just a metaphor.I wouldn't smoke any of them prior to authopsying one first, to ensure there's indeed tobacco in there...
I just sent him a message. We'll see.Out of curiosity, has anyone sent him a note to let him know they are fakes? Either the seller was snookered, or knows they are fake and is trying to make back the money he unwisely spent.
EDIT: I let him know. We'll see if the seller sends back a nasty note or not.
Seller still has not responded. I'm sure it's on his list of things to do.Out of curiosity, has anyone sent him a note to let him know they are fakes? Either the seller was snookered, or knows they are fake and is trying to make back the money he unwisely spent.

Amen on this. There are stories out there from notable BOTL who did such an autopsy only to find crushed pieces of tobacco and floor sweepings inside. There was some leaves inside but they weren't anything close to quality tobacco..stems, etc. It's important to note that people think they are actually buying real CC's when in Mexico and Caribbean islands...and get taken everyday to the cleaners and this is distressing esp. when you see and read all of these forum posts as to the validity of Cuban Cigars. Unless one really knows about cigars...esp. CC's it's best to have a quality source so you don't get taken in. A reputable Vendor will give you your money back...a thief won't. It's like anything else...if it looks to good to be true....run!I wouldn't smoke any of them prior to authopsying one first, to ensure there's indeed tobacco in there...
Firstly...fakes are something that any cigar hobbyist should never buy because it's just supporting fraud..esp. since a B&M would endorse such a thing. Fake CC's are a blight on our hobby because it robs people of their hard earned money and secondly it creates the false impression that they are quality cigars...even if you like them which could be true as I've heard others say the same thing...it just supports what we all make fun of....it's like buying a car that a Dealer says their is low mileage and then you discover that the VIN numbers are altered and the odometer was rolled back 100K miles.I've actually purchased fakes that were disclosed as fakes in a shop in Miami and I have to say they were damn good.
I like that humidor though....LOLFound me some Craigslist Cohiba's
