I've never been on a cruise... how do you get on the beach from the ship - small boat?

The wife and I go on a couple cruises a year, and they are always fun. Looks like yours was no exception.

Went to Nassua a few years back and have to agree that the locals trying to sell garbage was very annoying. I had one kid try and sell me drugs while I was using the urinal! You cant even relax on the beach without being harrassed for silly hair braiding or necklaces. It really took away from my experience when I was there.

Eric - I'm sorry I didn't see your post - little boats take about 250 at a time back & forth to the Islands with no dock.

Ys they call it a tender. They use smaller boats when the ship is not able to dock.

Cruised Alaska last year and we are hooked. Leave for the Mexican Riv. on Sept 26. This time I made sure they had an actual cigar lounge. Woohoo. Look out Margaret, I'm BACCCKKKK!!!!

I have a big problem with cruises.

They don't stop the damn boat long enough, and I can't figure out how to set the hook from 80 feet above the water line. But it still looks like a blast!
