Smoked the Hoyo on Saturday. It reminded me of a young Epi 2. Once the Tannins die down it will be a very good smoke IMO. Plan on smoking the RA and Cohiba later this week.

I picked up a box of the HdM Short Piramides and am quite impressed with them. They are very young at this point but still an approachable and enjoyable smoke. It will be interesting to see how these evolve with some aging.

I'm also waiting for the RA Allones Extra to become available at a couple of the sources I use. I am eager to try these. One of the appealing things about the RA and HdM LE's this year are the vitolas. It's refreshing to see some medium length, medium ring-gauge sticks from HSA, even if they are LE's.

I'm very interested in the HU Royal Robustos, and am looking forward to reviews on those. Intrigued by the Hoyos and RAs too, but will wait a year to see how the dust settles. No interest in the rest, honestly. The Monte is at least a nice size, though.

I have had good experience with ELs in general the party D2's are smoking amazingly well these days so are the Trini Ingenios, Mag 50's, Mag 48, RyJ Petit Pyramide and Boli Petit Belicoso. The only one of late that makes me scratch my head is the 2006 Monte Robo for all that age its a big hit or miss.

of the 2011 ELs, the one to buy multiple boxes of is the RA Allones Extras. Fantastic cigar. The cohiba 1966s are quite good however, a bit pricy...
