In the $2-3 range, Ramon Bueso Genesis Habano, $2-3 on cbid and Jose L Piedra, $2 cubans. I smoke a lot of those two to supplement the good stuff, they're usually pretty good honestly. They're not $10 cigars, but they best a lot of $5 cigars out there.

Around or under $5, I go with a lot of Cuban short smokes. Partagas Shorts, HUHC, H Upmann Regalias, Boli CJ, RG Perlas, Punch Petit Corinations top my list.

Think one of the reason people have problems getting & finding quality price point sticks is the B & M owner don't want to stock them because of smaller profit per sale v/s higher price sticks.

Recall several years ago a lady comes into the local B & M, she is looking for 200 cigars for her husband 50th. Birthday Party she is throwing. The clerk point her to some $8.00/stickler stuff, she leave say she is not spending $1,600.00 on cigars.

I ask the clerk you sell nothing like Quorum Bundles at $2.00/stick up to about maybe $3.00/stick. Clerk replies the "owner" don't want to strock that cheap stuff. I say well you just lost a $400.00 sale, and he said I have told the owner that.

Customer come in to Cigar shop to buy price point stuff all the time for. Weddings, Bachlor Parties, Babies it a Boy, or it's a Girk Cigars, and special events. Not everyone of their customer is looking for Padron 1926's. Some just want price point Cigars.

I know a guy who runs his local shop like his private club, he sells ZERO he does not personally like. People walk in his shop weekly looking for Acid Brand, he don't sell it, he looses maybe $$10,000.00 - $15.000.00 a year in Acid Sales.

IMHO if you have a Cigar Shop, you need a Big Humidor, Well Stocked Humidor, and what customer want to buy.

CAO Brazilia, MX2 (-$5)
La Gloria Cubana R (-$5)
REO by Ortega ($1.50) a little underfilled, but makes for a great yard gar!
Papas Fritas ($5)
Ramon Bueso Habano (-$5)
Tat Petite Corona Reserva ($5)
RoMa Cromag (~$5 on sale)
AB Prensado (~$5 on sale)

I do 95%+ of my buying on-line because for promotions, discounts, selection, fast shipping, and last good customer service.

Even when the B & M's have a event, most of the time online still is a better deal because of no city, county, state & tabacco taxes savings.

IMHO
We're talking about grape here. Peach, Jazz, Original, Wood tip.....yanno, the good stuff.

I smoke a lot of the gars mentioned here, but my favorite for taste and value is the Oliva O seconds. I can't tell them from the firsts, and the last few batches I've purchased were only $1.87/stick. Maybe the best deal going.

And my controversial nomination: Parodi Kings! $0.60 each! This was the first cigar I ever smoked almost 50 years ago (when they were only a nickel each), and it started my love affair with cigars. And you never forget your first.
