This is awesome Eddie!

Hopefully we'll all have the opportunity to purchase some "Eddie-H" cigars (ala Johnny-O) at some point in the future!!

Is that mold or plume? (heh heh)
Seriously, really cool that you are jumping into this! About how long does it take to roll a cigar? Would you be willing to share some, or sell some? Please PM me if so.

In the spirit of shadowcam, I did my first wrapper remix today. Had a Tat Havana VI Angeles with a busted wrapper at the cap, and a Petit Cabaiguan with a gouge in it, so I went to work. Here's what I ended up with....

Cigars.jpg

From right to left:
A Ramon Allones Specially Selected with a CT Broadleaf (Oliva Serie G Maddy), and a remnant of the original wrapper. It's kind of a Frankenstogie. Don't have high hopes for this one.
A Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles with a RASS wrapper.
A Petit Cabaiguan with a Tatuaje Havana VI wrapper.

Currently got them drying in a box, I'm kind of amazed at how much moisture these things are holding. I have a feeling that the RASS will explode though, that broadleaf is like leather...

I don't know anything about rolling or deconstructions so pardon me if I am asking silly questions, but how do you take apart the wrappers? And what makes you choose what to mix?

Your work looks awesome and can't wait to see what else you make.

So it was only a matter that I would graduate from my wrapper remixes and start reblending cigars. I'll probably buy some loose leaf eventually but I'm just going to use my existing cigars. My custom mold came in today and I think I'm going to fall in love with it. It's 6 x 44. Just about the right size for me. Having no experience with filler and binders, this experiment will be ongoing. Hopefully I'll figure out the rolling part sooner rather than later.

My first project was a busted up UF-4. I deconstructed it and made two Coronas out of it with Anejo wrappers on both. Next project will be mixing the Goldie No. 5 with LFDC Grandiosos. That sounds like a dream cigar to me :)

First freshly rolled cigar

Who made that great looking mold for you? I like it
