JD, I am looking forward to this cigar size. I miss the La Vieja Habana - Early Years Silencio. Not only is this size perfect as the weather is getting cold up here in WI but it's the perfect smoking time for my drive to work and home. I have a feeling I will be stocking up on these bad boys when they are released.

BAIT FISH
11.15.11

Received an interesting call from the factory yesterday regarding the MUWAT BAIT FISH, claiming that Joya de Nicaragua made the drop, and the goods were in the process of freezing. Now, while I'm not sure how far into the 72 hour freeze + thaw out time they were in, but I am pretty stoked.

One of the comments on this post was that New Havana Cigars (Dan at NHC) does not carry the rest of the DE lines, but he seems to be getting the BAIT FISH ... and I have to confirm this is true. Let me just say that this is not the typical thing that DE would do.

I just kind of decided - "WHAT THE FK" - Dan is mad cool, so lets twist up the system for a minute on this one. A good bunch of BOTL have expressed interest in trying that UZI blend in a smaller RG, and this one should make em say "Damn JD, What it DOOO" ... !!! LOL

Finally, and sorry for the long post (as I have been drinking bourbon for a minute), but my man Bmony mentioned something that got me all nostolgic ... the old SILENCIO from back in the day. That original SILENCIO cigar was slamming, but we messed it up when we discontinued the blend.

Anyway, have I mentioned that I miss you guys?

Best,
JD

Sweet!! Awesome news JD, been keen on firing this one up. Should be just what I need for smoking on my porch during the winter months.

Thanks for the update JD. I am waiting for the baitfish to drop and will be ordering a box when they do. Perfect winter cigar up her in WI.

I won't even ask for this size in any of the Liga lines as the process of making the Dirty Rats are tough enough.

The LVH Early Years, Wavelle Deluxe and Zero Hora I have left are still smoking and tasting great!!

I love most of the DE brands, but couldn't get into the MUWAT much. I am hoping they get better with age. I bought a mazo of 10 and have 5 left, smoked 1, gifted 4.

Maybe this will be more up my ally. Can't wait to see it hit stores.

i've found that the longer they sit, the better they are! smoking some now from the burning leaf release and they have developed more flavor!

I am very interested in this release.

Smoked my first MUWAT 5x60 this evening, along with my first Undercrown. Both were by far the best release of the year IMO. I am just waiting for them to show up in my local shop. He's been waiting on them to come in since they have been released, so have i, and I'm getting antsy now that I've smoked them.

Great effort again by Drew Estate. Thanks JD
