You must still be shaken up from the scare because it's an Olive Python (Lialis olivaceus olivaceus). Assuming the length of each panel (on the building behind the snake) is 4', it's more than likely the Pilbara sub species.

I'd rather a big ass snake like that instead of this. Now granted this is a vietnamese version, I find almost identical ones in boots and clothes here in Turkey. They just give me the heebie jeebies and make my skin crawl at the same time:cryloud:. It's the one bug in my life I'm freaked out by so far.
